Training:
Our goal is to challenge each player to play in a way that is efficient and effective, while pursuing technical and tactical excellence that mirrors Gordon’s Standard of Play. Sessions will be constructed based on practice plans for the Gordon’s college team and coaches will help each player to refine the tools necessary for competition at the collegiate level. Ample time will be devoted to small-sided and 11v11 games.
Goalkeeper Training:
In addition to our 3 training sessions, we will hold a 45-minute goalkeeper-specific training session led by Gordon’s goalkeeping coach. This session will focus on goalkeeper technique and execution based on the demands of the college game.
Athletic Training/Medical Staff:
Certified, full-time athletic trainers and student trainers will provide immediate treatment to campers in need. Trained EMTs are available on campus and local hospitals are easily accessible if necessary. If your camper has a pre-existing medical condition, requires medication, or carries emergency medication such as an Epipen, please notify the camp director and/or the medical staff. If your camper carries an Epipen, you are required to submit a Permission to Administer Epipen Form which is included in the Camp Waiver Forms download.
Camp medical advising and oversight is provided by Gordon Athletics team physician, Dr. Navid Mahooti MD, MPH, of the North Shore Medical Center (978-882-6700).
Inclement Weather:
In the event of inclement weather, we will do our best to utilize indoor space to continue training. However, because there are other activities in session at the same time we may be limited in our facility space, so it is possible that we will utilize film sessions and other activities until the weather passes.

Overnight Housing for each player will be provided and is included in the cost of attending ID Camp.
